    Muster Point - 10th Anniversary Ceremony  View Printable Version

    On Wednesday 30 September 2009 at 11:00am, a 10th anniversary ceremony will be held at the “Muster Point” sculpture on Industrial Drive, near the entrance to the steelworks site.

    Julie Squire the sculptor of the Muster Point, Jack Risby past General Manager of the steelworks, and Craig Norman GM Hunter Development Corporation will speak at the ceremony followed by refreshments. Everyone is welcome to attend.

    "Mayfield's 'forgotten monument' to steelmaking could be spruced up in time for next month's 10th anniversary of BHP's closure, and opened more frequently to the public."
