     BHP Newcastle Fab Shop Ironworker 1967

    A friend of mine is trying to track down an Ironworker he worked with in the Fab Shop BHP Newcastle in 1967. He doesn't remember his name but reckons he would recognise it if he sees it. Does anyone have any lists of Ironworkers at BHP in those days (in the Fab Shop) or any other means of getting these names? Thanks

    Idea Try the Australian Workers Union in Maitland Rd Mayfield, they may have records there.

    Another way may be to contact Port Kembla Steel Works and see if they have a 1967 time book
    from Fab Shop if those records are kept there.
